The pattern will remain active through the weekend with off and on rounds of showers and storms. We can expect isolated storms Friday, then numerous showers and storms on Saturday. An area of heavy rain may move in tomorrow evening, giving us a good soaking for a few hours. This would be good news much of western Mass, as we are under a moderate to severe drought, according to the newest drought monitor released today.
