It continues to snow heavy across the area with the heaviest bands of snow set up in eastern Hampden County.  Most spots have already picked up 8-13" of accumulation (as of 1:00 PM) A strong area of low pressure continues sliding south of New England and will move south of the Cape later today, a perfect path for southern New England to receive a major snowstorm.
