An upper level disturbance rolls through western Mass tonight with a few snow showers and squalls, especially in the hills. This will also open the door to the Arctic air mass we’ve been waiting for. Temperatures drop into the low 20s by dawn with winds increasing out of the west-northwest. Expect black ice to develop for most and wind chills to fall to either side of 0 degrees!
