Gas station donating portion of sales to stabbing victim's family

Posted: Updated:

A Springfield gas station is helping out a Springfield family whose loved one was murdered last week.

The Shell gas station located at 940 Belmont Ave. has pledged 10 cents from every gallon of gas sold on Friday to the Jessica Rojas Funeral Fund.

Rojas was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend Jose Santiago last Saturday. Santiago has pleaded not guilty.

The Jessica Rojas Funeral Fund is being administered through Hampden Bank, and donations can also be made at any local branch.
