The third televised debate between U.S. Senate candidates Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren is the hottest ticket in town, and organizers are taking no chances when it comes to security.
"We're going to be at full capacity. We have 2,611 seats in the hall, and all the tickets are gone," said Springfield Public Forum Executive Director Page Brody. "You've got to have a ticket in hand. Bags will be checked. We do have security on the premises."
Springfield Symphony Hall's doors open at 5 p.m. and will be locked at 6:30 p.m.
State and city police are also on guard, with stepped up patrols around Symphony Hall and Springfield City Hall.
