In anticipation of long-lasting impact from Hurricane Sandy, Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse has announced that the city's trick-or-treating will be postponed to Saturday, Nov. 3.

The city has also closed schools for Monday, limited City Hall personnel to essential staff for Monday, and lowered the water levels in the city's reservoirs in anticipation of the storm.
