AVONDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
A memorial fund has been set up for a 28-year-old Avondale woman found shot to death in her garage on Monday.
Donella Clauschee's 4-year-old daughter was discovered strapped in her car seat nearby.
The fund is called the Donella Clauschee Memorial Fund at the Chase Bank.
Funeral plans scheduled for Friday have been delayed because the family is not able to cover all the expenses for the funeral services, according to a statement from the People of Color Network.
On Tuesday, Las Vegas police arrested the man suspected of shooting his ex-girlfriend to death.
Michael Hall, 41, was apprehended as he walked back to his red 2002 PT Cruiser in the area of the Luxor Hotel about 6 a.m., according to Sgt. Brandon Busse of the Avondale Police Department.
Hall's vehicle had been under surveillance by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department since about 1 a.m. after they had received a tip Hall was in the area, police said.
Hall is believed to have shot Clauschee several times Monday morning after she strapped her daughter into the family car, Busse said. A search had been under way for Hall.
Hall and Clauschee had recently split up, and in August, Clauschee had taken out an order of protection against Hall, Busse said. The order was dismissed Aug. 20 when the couple was told to work things out since they had the child together.
Hall was in a Las Vegas jail awaiting extradition to Arizona.
