An Oregon State University student is facing charges that he illegally videotaped his roommates changing in the bathroom.
Corvallis police said it happened at a home on Northwest 17th and they arrested Roger Tucker, 24, on charges of invasion of privacy.
Corvallis police said the crime took place at the home in northwest Corvallis.
They said Tucker set up a small camera inside the bathroom of the home he shared with several other people.
"I was really shocked, at first it was so surreal like something you'd see or hear in a movie," said Melissa Ragsdale.
Ragsdale lived at the home with Tucker for a short time and police said she was one of the victims caught on Tucker's camera.
"I moved out of that house on Sept. 17 into a new place, so he got the camera up by the beginning of September. He got me in just in that short window," added Ragsdale.
Police said the video was discovered after one of Tucker's roommates tried to download music from his computer on to her iTunes folder.
That's when they said she found a video clip of a topless woman in the bathroom.
Police later found two other videos that showed two other women topless as they undressed in the same bathroom.
"It was a bathroom towel hook, black in color and not something you'd suspect to have a video camera in it," said Ragsdale.
Once the video was discovered police had enough evidence to arrest him on charges of invasion of personal privacy.
They confiscated his computer equipment and a camera.
"I knew his family really well and we we're close friends with him and his family and just to know that he did that to me I felt violated and betrayed," said Ragsdale.
She said Tucker is a computer engineering student at Oregon State University who appeared quiet and very respectful of others.
Now, she's left trying to understand why the friend she's known for the last eight years would allegedly do something like this but admits she forgives him.
"No, I'm not angry at him, mostly disappointed really disappointed that he would do something like that to me or anybody," said Ragsdale.
Tucker was arrested on Nov. 25 and later released. He's scheduled to appear in court for his arraignment on Dec. 13.
