Parking bans continue through the weekend

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

While the snow has ended, clean-up has begun for cities and towns across Western Massachusetts.

The following parking bans have been reported to CBS 3 and remain in effect:

With a winter weather advisory in effect for all of the Pioneer Valley, towns and cities throughout Western Massachusetts are issuing parking bans.

As of now, here are the parking bans that have been reported to CBS 3:

Agawam: No parking on streets from Sunday at noon until Monday at 6 p.m.

Easthampton: Parking ban in effect for all city streets for snow removal.  The ban begins Sunday at 10 p.m. and continues until Monday at 10 a.m.

Granby: No parking on the street is allowed beginning noon Saturday. The ban is in effect until further notice.

Holyoke: No parking is allowed on the even side of any street beginning Saturday at 5 p.m.  The ban runs until Sunday at 5 p.m.  A reverse parking ban will go into effect Sunday at 7 p.m. No cars will be allowed to park on the odd side of the street until Monday at 7 a.m.

Longmeadow: A parking ban is in effect from the time snow/ice begins until 12 hours after the cessation of precipitation.   Vehicles parked on the street that interfere with winter operations shall be subject to ticketing and towing at the owners expense.

Springfield: A city wide parking ban is in effect beginning Saturday at 7 p.m. and will end Sunday at 7 p.m. No parking is allowed on the odd side of the street on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
