Family and friends remember Amanda Plasse

Posted: Updated:

The skies over Ray Ash Park were filled with bright yellow balloons on Sunday.

The balloons were yellow to represent sunflowers, Amanda Plasse's favorite flower.

Many gathered to remember Plasse, who was found dead in her Chicopee apartment 18 months ago.

Her mother told CBS 3 that the balloons are to remind people that Plasse's killer still has not been found.

Anyone with information about Plasse's death is asked to contact the Chicopee Police Department.
