Police are looking for a woman who they say attempted to rob two convenience stores early Saturday morning with a box cutter.

Lt. Thomas Zarelli told CBS 3 that the woman got away with an undisclosed amount of money from the 7-11 on Springfield Street just after 3 a.m.

Zarelli then said around 5:30 a.m., they believe the same woman attempted to get away with more money from the Page Convenience Store on Page Boulevard.

She was not successful on the second attempt.

Police said they are looking for a white female, who is approximately 30 years old.

She has blonde hair and was wearing a black coat. They believe she was driving a dark, small sedan.

Chicopee police are also on the lookout for a female robber of their own.

Police said the woman, who is a white female in her mid 20s, robbed two different gas stations in the past week.

She is accused of robbing the Shell station on Grove Street and the Pride station on Burnett Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chicopee police detective bureau.
