Multiple arrested in Holyoke after drug sweep up the East coast

The Holyoke Police Department took part in a mutli-agency sweep that ranges from Orlando, Florida up the east coast to Holyoke, Ma.

According to Holyoke police, people were buying Oxy pills from clinics in Palm Bay, Fl.  Police say the pills were then shipped up to Holyoke and sold on the streets.  The money from the pills were then shipped back to Florida 

Several arrests were made with narcotics and weapons being seized which included raids at 205 Walnut Street and 179 Oak Street. 

Holyoke Police tell CBS 3 there were nine arrests in Holyoke including a cafeteria worker from Kelly School, 24 to 25 arrests were made in Florida and six arrests in Puerto Rico. 

A press conference was held today at 2 p.m. at the Holyoke Police Department.
