The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday morning that the team had signed former LSU defensive lineman Bennie Logan to a four-year contract.
The 6'2, 309 pound Logan was the Eagles 67th pick in the third round of the NFL Draft.
He has taken part in the Philadelphia's off-season activities and has played several positions along the line.
Logan was the first of five defensive players drafted by the Eagles and new head coach Chip Kelly.
In 2012, Logan totaled 45 tackles for the Tigers, 5.5 for losses, and two sacks.
In 2011, he played next to Michael Brockers, who was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Last year Logan was named 2nd Team All-SEC by the Associated Press.
