Cleveland Police investigate E.140th shooting

Cleveland Police report that a man was shot while walking near East 140th St. and St. Clair Ave. on Saturday, September 21, just before 5 p.m.

The victim told police that he was approached by three black males in hoodies shouting, "Where are you from?" before they began shooting.

As the victim ran away he was hit in the right calf.  The victim states that he fell and the gunmen ran through a field near Coit and St. Clair Avenues.  He believed the males involved were between the ages of 14 and 16.  One of the bullets struck an RTA bus stop.  EMS transported the victim to University Hospital to be treated for his injury.
