A judge has ruled Angela Steinfurth will not be released from jail to attend her 1-year-old daughter's funeral.
Steinfurth's defense team had requested that she be able to attend the funeral, which is set for Saturday. A judge denied that request on Wednesday.
Steinfurth, along with her ex-boyfriend Steven King, are locked up on obstruction of justice charges related to the case.
East Toledo 1-year-old Elaina Steinfurth was reported missing by her father June 2. The little girl's remains were found in the garage of Steven King's home Sept. 5.
Steinfurth is due back in court Oct. 23, after her case was again continued on Wednesday.
King had been set to appear in court on Thursday, but that court date was rescheduled for Oct. 7 on Wednesday. King's trial had been set to begin on Oct. 7, but the trial was pushed back, as well. A new trial date will be set at the October hearing.
Both King and Steinfurth remain locked up in the Lucas County Jail.
