Buckeye police seize close to 100 pounds of cocaine

BUCKEYE, AZ (CBS5) -

Buckeye police officers pulled Elizabeth Paredes-Rea, of San Luis, AZ, over on Wednesday, Oct. 2 for a suspended registration violation when they found nearly 100 pounds of cocaine hidden in her vehicle.

Buckeye officers arrested Paredes-Rea, impounded her vehicle and seized the drugs.

Parades-Rea was booked into the Maricopa County 4th Avenue Jail.

The cocaine has a street value of $250,000, according to officers.
