Virginia State Police released the identities of the three people killed in a crash on Interstate 95 Saturday afternoon.

The driver, Isiah Willis, 21, and two passengers, Thomas Willis, 69, and Cindy Willis, 47, were killed in the crash.

According to Corinne Geller with Virginia State Police, the single-vehicle crash happened at 1:07 p.m. in the northbound lanes at the 42 mile marker. A sedan ran off the left side of the interstate, then the driver overcorrected, causing the car to cross back over the northbound lanes, run off the right side, then crash into a tree.

All three died at the scene. None of the victims were wearing seatbelts, according to Geller.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
