TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Tucson Police have made an arrest in connection with an incident Tuesday that forced road closures and the evacuation of a hotel on the southwest side.
Scott Johnson, 30, was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for six counts of misconduct involving weapons.
The charges stem from an incident at the Silverbell Inn, 720 W. Silverlake Road, in which suspicious objects were discovered a little before 9:30 a.m.
The Tucson Police Bomb Squad determined the objects were improvised explosive devices and removed them for further investigation and to be rendered safe.
