TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Sophia and Fernando Richter are expected in Superior Court for arraignment this afternoon.

The two are accused of kidnapping and child abuse of Sophia's daughters - ages 12, 13 and 17.

Tucson Police say the couple held the girls captive in filthy conditions in their midtown home, near East Glenn Street and North Stone Avenue.

Last month two of the girls ran to a neighbor's home and called 911.  Police went to the home after that 911 call and found the third sister.

In one of the police reports the girls stated they were beaten until they bled.  The girls also told detectives they had to drink water from dirty jugs that were filled with bath water.  Prosecutors say a majority of the crimes in the case took place at a previous home in Pinal County.

The Pinal County Attorney's Office said they are reviewing the case for possible prosecution.

The Richters are expected to appear in court today at 1 p.m.
