Former Westfield State President Evan Dobelle is making new allegations against his former employer.
He's added more than 40 pages of complaints to a lawsuit against state officials and the school's board of trustees.
It was back in November Dobelle resigned from his position as head of the school after an investigation into his spending found he mixed both personal and business expenses on the university's credit cards.
Shortly after, he filed a lawsuit against the school's board of trustees and Massachusetts Higher Education Commissioner Richard Freeland.
Now Dobelle is adding even more to that lawsuit.
The complaint obtained by CBS 3 was filed on Monday in Hampden County Superior Court.
The document states Dobelle accuses the defendants of breaching his employment contract by preventing him from performing his duties while he was placed on paid leave during the investigation into his spending.
The complaint also says that investigation was unwarranted, broke university by-laws and went against Massachusetts Open Meeting Laws.
Dobelle has repeatedly said every dime spent on the university was in the school's best interest.
His lawsuit also highlights that Westfield State's 2013 audit found no evidence of fraud on Dobelle's part.
