Westbound I-40 east of Kingman reopens following crash

Posted: Updated:

Westbound Interstate 40 has reopened east of Kingman following a closure due to a crash.

The crash happened about 10 miles east of the I-40 junction with U.S. Highway 93, about 30 miles east of Kingman, on Monday morning, an Arizona Department of Transportation spokesman said.

The state Department of Public Safety said the accident happened on a curve and that it left the roadway blocked with wreckage.

Two people involved reported minor injuries.

More information on the state's road conditions and closures can be found at ADOT's travel information site at www.az511.gov, on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or by calling 511.
