SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday at an apartment located at 47 School St.

Sgt. John Delaney of the Springfield Police Department told CBS 3 that two people living in a third-floor apartment called police when three rounds were fired into their living room, where they were seated.

A 22-year-old woman and her 11-month-old daughter were in a back room of the apartment and were not close to the shots.

Delaney said three rounds were recovered from the apartment, but there was no shot-spotter activation.

No one was injured, and the incident remains under investigation.
