Multiple flights from Bradley to Atlanta were canceled Wednesday as a winter storm swept across the south.
Bradley International Airport announced the cancellations on its Twitter page at about 7:00 a.m. Eight flights scheduled to fly to Atlanta today from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. were canceled.
The City of Atlanta is under a winter storm warning until 1 p.m. Thursday. Up to five inches of snow is expected.
Bradley Airport advised that travelers check with airlines for cancellations as the storm is expected to hit the northeast Thursday. The snowstorm is expected to bring at least eight inches of snow to the Springfield area, according to CBS 3 Meteorologist Nick Morganelli.
