Northeast Realty, the company that owns the 152 acres of land where Mohegan Sun proposed to build a casino, plans to sue the casino company for breach of contract.
Northeast Realty attorneys say in court documents that Mohegan broke their exclusivity agreement by engaging in talks with Eastern Mass towns.
The suit, which will be filed in Hampden County District Court Friday, says Mohegan did not have the right to pursue an Eastern Mass casino while also holding onto the Palmer property.
