LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A productpromises to make awesome stuffed hamburgers, but does it work? We decided to trythe Stufz American Stuffed Burger Maker to Krazy Dave's in Bon Air to try it out.
After getting the burger ready to make pattieswe were ready to go.
That's where we first raninto trouble. Depending on the size of the burger balls it took a little muscleto push the meat down far enough to create the cavity needed to put yourstuffing in. It took several tries, but finally we got the hang of it.
Next it was time to loadup the middle of the burger. We used mushrooms, cheese and some onions. Thencame time to add the top of the burger. The outcome turned out to be fairlywhat it should be, not pretty, but it would work.
After that it was time to take it to thefryer.
Once the burgers were donewe sliced them in half to see how well the stuffed burger maker did. Theylooked good, and tasted even better.
All-in-all the Stufz AmericanStuffed Burger Maker didn't do a bad job. Keep in mind it's probably going totake you a little while to get used to. It took a while before we actually gota decent looking burger, but for $10 it's fun for the whole family and not abad buy.
