Baystate Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice reached an agreement with the Massachusetts Nurses Association on a new contract Thursday.
The agreement includes the union's acceptance of Baystate's standard health benefits program, compromises on salary increases for the RNs through 2015, and a signing incentive payment based on nurses' hours worked per week.
It also says the nurses will receive no wage increase for contract year 2013, but a 3 percent wage increase will go into effect March 30 of this year.
The MNA has agreed to drop its unfair labor practice charge against BVNAH under the agreement.
If ratified, the new contract will extend to March of next year.
