Maura Healey, a Democratic candidate for Massachusetts attorney general, was in the Florence section of the city on Sunday, speaking about her work on disability rights.
While working under Martha Coakley in the attorney general's office, Healey spent time advocating for the rights of the disabled.
On March 1, Healey worked with the National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts at their convention.
She told CBS 3 that equal rights for all is a platform that she cares a lot about.
Healey is running for attorney general against Warren Tolman, a fellow Democrat.
There are currently no Republicans in the race.
