A Springfield man was arrested Wednesday after he was seen by an off-duty officer streaking down Plainfield Street.
Jose Monge, 35, admitted to borrowing pain killers from a neighbor before going for a drive, according to Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney.
Monge then did donuts at the intersection of West and Avocado streets, before crashing into a tractor trailer, Delaney said.
According to shocked witnesses, Monge then got out of his car, took off everything but his socks and began streaking.
"Monge stated to theofficers that he borrowed some pain killers from his neighbor for shoulder painand they made him act crazy," Delaney said.
Monge was charged with indecent exposure, reckless driving and operating under the influence of drugs, among other charges, Delaney said.
