According to officials, two men suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Officers located the first victim, Bryan Williston, 28, of Hartford, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head.

Williston was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

This is the second homicide in Hartford this year.

According to police, limited information has developed from witness interviews. The location of the gunfire was heavily occupied before the incident and by-standers fled in many directions once the shots were fired.

Police said the shooting was not related to the St. Patrick's Day parade.
