Hundreds laced up their shoes on Sunday morning to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as the organization held its fourth annual Walk for Wishes at the Holyoke Mall.
Anyone was eligible to take part, but many of the teams were made up of families who previously had wishes granted.
They said getting to see their little ones have a wish come true makes them want to give back.
"When you see these children down at their lowest, trying to heal, and trying to get through something that's life-threatening and Make-A-Wish steps in, you can't believe what it does for them and their family," said Regina Zebrowski, whose daughter was granted a wish five years ago.
There was no word on how much this year's walk raised just yet, but last year's walk raised a total of $30,000.
