IKEA is recalling more than 250,000 children's bed canopies due to a strangulation hazard.
Officials warn that children can become entangled in the canopy's loose fabric. In one case a 7-month-old child was able to pull the fabric into her crib and wrapped it several times around her neck.
The canopies were sold in 11 different designs at IKEA stores between August of 1996 and this month for prices ranging from $10 to $30.
Anyone who owns one of the canopies is urged to stop using it immediately and return it to any IKEA store for a full refund.
