Girls High School Lacrosse Byrd defeats Magnet 14-2

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

The only local high school girls lacrosse teams in the area are the C.E. Byrd Lady Jackets and the Caddo Magnet Lady Mustangs. Byrd and Magnet are forced to travel for the majority of the season because of the lack of girls lacrosse teams in the area.  Both teams say that traveling can be tough and it would be great to have more teams in the area.

Byrd and Magnet battled it out at Lee Hedges Stadium on Saturday for their only weekend of games at home. The Lady Jackets would be too much for the Mustangs taking the win 14-2.
