    The large fire at the student housing construction site in midtown Tucson this week resulted in $8-10 million in damages, according to officials.

    The fire was so hot and bright it lit up the morning sky. That is what one student saw across the street from the construction site fire from yesterday. Danny lives at the University Vista apartments. He’s a grad student at the U of A. He saw the fire and raced to get his car. TUCSON, AZ -

There will be hundreds of jobs available today during 'The Works' job fair.

The Works free job fair is sponsored by Pima County One Stop and Jobertising.com.  This will be a chance for employers to meet face-to-face with potential employees at the Hotel Tucson City Center (475 N. Granada Ave. Tucson, 85701) 

Those interested in attending must RSVP at www.jobertising.com.  The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Organizers are reminding participants to bring plenty of resumes and to 'dress for success'.

Businesses featured in the job fair include:  Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment, The University of Arizona Health Network, Schletter, Dex Media, Brookline College, Convergys, State Farm, La Frontera Arizona, American Family Insurance, AFNI, Carrington College, The Temp Connection, GEICO, Tohono O'odham Community College, Dun & Bradstreet, Canyon Ranch, Farmers Insurance Group, American Red Cross, Discount Cab, Southwest Truck Driver Training, Caption Call, Department of Economic Security, Agero, and many more.
