Residents had a chance to spend Saturday evening watching college basketball at the town's country club.
Swish Night was hosted by Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island to raise money for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Those in attendance were able to enjoy watching the games on several big-screen televisions while also enjoying food and beverages.
A member of the Make-A-Wish board told CBS 3 that he is very pleased with the turnout and support from the community.
"I think people recognize that this is a tremendous charity, that they do a great job and that all of the resources that we generate here stay local and their service to the children and the families of this community," said Phil Glynn.
In the charity's 27-year history, they have granted more than 6,000 wishes for the children of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
