Firefighters battled a shed fire on Sunday afternoon.
The Hampden Fire Department told CBS 3 that the owner of the home was permitted to have 500 gallons of home heating fuel in his shed, as he sells the product.
That fuel caught on fire and destroyed the shed, but it was contained before it could do any damage elsewhere.
Officials said other combustibles were stored in the shed, so they had to be careful as they fought the fire.
There were no injuries.
The state fire marshal's office is investigating what caused the blaze.
