The son and sometimes guest on reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best is wanted by deputies in the Upstate of South Carolina, accused of assaulting his child's mother last year.
Anderson County deputies posted on their Facebook page Thursday that they have active arrest warrants for Kyle Chrisley, 23, who is accused of slapping a woman and threatening the victim's sister with a knife.
Deputies said on Feb. 24, 2013, Chrisley and the victim got into an argument at a home on Bayhill Circle in Anderson. The incident report stated Chrisley hit the victim, his common law spouse and mother of their then 3-month-old child, after she confronted him about his habit of staying out all night, not returning home until late in the morning.
Chrisley hit her in the face with an open hand, took their child then left, returning minutes later, deputies said. Chrisley kicked in the door and when the victim's sister confronted him, he threatened her with a kitchen knife telling her to do something, according to the report.
The sister said she was calling police, and Chrisley left the home with the baby in a green 1998 Chevrolet Suburban, deputies said.
Deputies sent out a be-on-the-lookout alert for him and while at the scene, they said Chrisley called the victim. An investigator answered it and informed him he was talking to a deputy, Chrisley hung up then texted the victim saying he could not believe she called the police, according to the report.
Chrisley is wanted on charges of criminal domestic violence and assault and battery third-degree.
Chrisley is the son of Atlanta businessman and reality TV star Todd Chrisley, whose show Chrisley Knows Best debuted in March.
Kyle Chrisley has appeared on the show. Since the incident last year, deputies said any information received about Kyle Chrisley's whereabouts has not been successful or false.
Anyone with information regarding Kyle Chrisley's whereabouts is asked to contact investigators at 864-260-4415 or Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (274-6372).
