VIDEO: ASU and Tuskegee share their versions of 'Happy' song

Tuskegee University and Alabama State University are getting happy with their own interpretations of the hit song "Happy" from singer Pharrell Williams.

Members of the two schools have released their own YouTube versions of the song, with dancing and lip syncing performances from various places around campus.

Tuskgee uploaded its version on April 10 and has been seen nearly 7,000 times.

Members of Alabama State University created and uploaded their version on May 7 and it's been seen more than a 1000 times since then.

The video includes many different members of Alabama State including different Greek organizations, members of different ASU sporting teams, ASU's mascot and even includes the new president of ASU, Gwendolyn Boyd.

Farrell's song is part of the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack and has received much critical acclaim, including being nominated for Best Original Song at the 86th Academy Awards in 2014.
