A Charlotte business owner called police after they said nearly 500 pounds of marijuana was delivered to them by accident.
The delivery went to an auto parts store on the 4600 block of N Tryon Street on Tuesday, according to a report from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police. An employee of the business then called police.
Officers said the marijuana was wrapped into 20 bricks, and weighed 496.5 pounds. The drugs were worth $250,000.
Investigators have not said where the delivery is thought to have originated, or if they know where it was supposed to go.
The marijuana was turned in to Property Control.
