For the third year in a row, motorcyclists from across Western Massachusetts paid tribute to veterans.
One thousand, five hundred motorcycles took a 52.5 mile trip on Saturday to raise money for the Soldiers Home.
The run, titled Victory 4 Veterans, began at the Soldiers Home, hitting towns such as South Hadley, Granby and Ludlow before ending at the Moose Lodge in Chicopee.
Many who took part Saturday were veterans themselves and said they were impressed by the turnout.
Before the run began at noon, those taking part had a chance to say thank you to two World War II veterans who took part in D-Day.
