For the second year in a row, the Connecticut River was the site of dragon boat racing.
The event, which pits teams of 20 against each other, has teams paddle upriver in the friendly competition.
The races are hosted by the Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club, a nonprofit in the city that promotes river activities.
They said this year's event more than doubled in size from last year.
This year's 21 dragon boat teams were made up of several businesses and organizations from across Western Massachusetts and beyond.
The money raised goes to support the club.
