The man accused of hitting and killing a bicyclist early New Year's morning in Springfield will face trial in November.
Adam Thurber appeared before a judge in Hampden Superior Court Wednesday.
He's accused of hitting and killing 25-year-old Derek Russell as he rode his bike down Boston Road on New Year's morning and then speeding off.
Police say they tracked Thurber down by watching surveillance of the accident captured by cameras on nearby homes.
Thurber is being held on $100,000 bail and will face trial on Nov. 19.
