TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - November 12, 2013: Thanks to video surveillance from El Guero Canelo Restaurant at 2480 North Oracle Road, we see the victim pull up in a white pickup at 10:58 p.m.

He parks in the south parking lot, exits his vehicle and heads toward the door.

The restaurant's actually closed at this time, but because he's a regular there he gets an employee's attention and is ultimately let in.

At 11:01 p.m, wp.m.ee two people, a man and woman, approach the restaurant on foot.

About 30 seconds later, we get our best look at this man as he walks by another security camera.

It's difficult to see, but the victim notices the two people and makes contact with them in the parking lot.

"It does appear they know each other," says Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan. "The victim is speaking with them and they walk together. It doesn't look confrontational at that point."

It's what happens next that puts a glaring spotlight on these two people the victim talked to.

"And then you see the victim walk to his truck with the other two and they all get into the victim's truck and they leave together and pull out onto Oracle," Dugan says. "That's 20 minutes before we get the first call of a possible shooting."

A shooting that claimed the life of 34-year-old Jesus Armenta-Rodriguez.

We don't know for sure what happened after they left the restaurant, but 18 minutes later police found the victim hunched over the steering wheel, mortally wounded.

The motor was still running and both passenger doors were wide open.

Are these two people responsible?

That's the million dollar question.

Even if they're not, police need to know who they are and what they know.

"That's the part we're trying to figure out. How did the victim know these people?" Dugan asks. "What did they know about this incident that took place -- and any other information that anybody has."

The bottom line is police need to know who these two people are; a man and a woman who very likely spend a lot of time in this general area near Oracle and Grant roads.

Keep in mind, they were seen on foot in the video, so they may not have a car and they probably had some association with Rodriguez.

If you have information, call 911 or 88-CRIME, the Pima County Attorney's anonymous tip line.
