Police in Hadley and Holyoke are investigating after they say a woman used counterfeit $100 bills at locations in their communities.

Saturday night, Best Buy employees called Hadley police saying that counterfeit money had been accepted at their store.

Authorities believe the woman and a man sitting in a car with out of state plates in the parking lot are involved.

Meantime, according to our media partners at MassLive and The Republican, employees at the target inside the Holyoke Mall called just several hours with the same complaint.

Holyoke police arrested the woman, 19-year-old Kyasia Kingsberry and found her with 10 counterfeit $100 bills and a receipt from the Hadley Best Buy.

She's facing multiple charges.

The man driving the car has not been caught.
