Police seek suspects in theft of Starbucks safe

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - University of Arizona police seek two people suspected of stealing from a Starbucks coffee shop near campus.

UAPD Sgt. Filbert Barrera said two suspects unlawfully entered the store on University Blvd. and fled the scene with the store’s safe early in the morning on April 16.

Anyone who knows the identity of the suspects or more information about the incident is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

    A vehicle was recently burglarized at the Douglas Springs Trailhead in Saguaro National Park's Rincon Mountain District (East). According to a NPS news release a credit card that was stolen from the vehicle was used at several locations across Tucson.

    According to a spokeswoman with the Tucson Unified School District, the crime happened overnight between 9:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. at Myers-Ganoung Elementary School.
