A program is in place to help police enforce traffic laws. They're calling it the I-90-94 Challenge.
Police from Massachusetts and 14 other states are getting involved.
State police here in the Baystate are putting extra patrols on the Mass Pike this weekend.
Troopers will focus on distracted and impaired drivers and speeders.
They will use marked, semi-marked, low-profile and unmarked patrol vehicles while on the roads.
The ultimate goal, they said, is to save lives.
