Antioch Cub Scout pack's trailer stolen

Posted: Updated:

Leaders of Cub Scout Pack 924 in Antioch discovered the pack's trailer had been stolen Tuesday from its location at Faith Life Church in Antioch.

"I'm really upset because that had all of our awards that we've earned," Cub Master John Stevens said.

The trailer is valued at $1,100 to $1,200.

Stevens said the trailer did not have anything he thinks would be of interest to the average person, but the items are important to the members of the pack.

"Money's money," Stevens said. "It may take us several years to build back up as a pack. We've lost a lot of history."

Stevens said several items in the trailer were wood pieces carved by hand for the pack over the years. He and the other leaders believe whoever took the trailer may throw out the items, so they are asking people to be on the lookout.
