Driver charged in deadly Hanover crash that ejected father, kids from car

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) -

The Hanover County Sheriff's Office has charged a driver in an accident that killed a Caroline father and injured the victim's two children.

Four vehicles were involved in a devastating crash off Washington Highway, near Lewistown Road, Tuesday afternoon.

Floyd Robinson Jr., 41, died at the hospital from injuries he received after he was ejected from his car. His two children, 11-year-old Teshawn and six-year-old Tiara, were also sent to the hospital but are expected to survive.

Walter D. Potter, 63, has been charged with reckless driving.
