This evening, Black on Black Crime held a vigil for 47-year-old Brian Montgomery, who was killed in a double shooting outside a convenience store on East 88th Street and Superior Avenue. His son, Brandon, was also shot in the leg but survived.

Family and friends gathered near East 77th Avenue and Trenton Avenue, where Montgomery grew up.

Those who knew him said Montgomery was happy, honest, and hardworking.

Cleveland Police have two suspects who were caught on camera inside the store moments before the shooting. Read more on them HERE

The community is calling for an end to the violence and hate.
