Posted: Updated:

The Agawam Police Department has issued a warning to residents regarding a string of daytime break-ins that occurred in town during the past several weeks.

There were recent house break-ins on Main Street and in Feeding Hills, according to police officials.

Agawam police urged residents to contact police if they witness any suspicious activity in their neighborhood.

Residents are asked to be mindful of any activity in their neighborhood. The Agawam Police Department advised residents not to confront any individuals they believe may be involved in a house break.

The Agawam Police Department can be reached at 413-786-4767, but dial 911 in case of emergency. Anyone that has information regarding past breaking and entering complaints can contact the detective bureau at 413-786-1717.
