A man who was charged with carrying a rifle through downtown Nashville had his case thrown out of court Thursday.
Leonard Embody was arrested last year after filming a confrontation with a Metro police officer.
Embody was wearing body armor and carrying an AR-15 with a silencer at the time. He was arrested after refusing to identify himself to police.
A judge dismissed the case and ordered Metro police to return his rifle and silencer.
Embody told The Tennessean he's considering a lawsuit against the city for his arrest.
This is not the first time Embody has been at the center of a controversial gun case. He earned the nickname "Radnor Lake Rambo" after he was arrested for carrying an assault rifle through the walking trails in Radnor Lake.
